The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Francisco Raymond successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zézinho Neiva was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, Racing Club's Francisco Raymond got control of the ball when Hernan Lano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva got a free kick in the 11th minute. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Carolo Indalecio hit a great ball. Adrián Espadas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Francisco Raymond made a huge save. Adrián Espadas might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Raymond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrián Espadas ran back to his position shaking his head. Racing Club's Francisco Raymond proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Adrián Espadas made a precise shot to the right of Francisco Raymond. Racing Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 32nd minute, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisco Raymond. Francisco Raymond yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Racing Club's Francisco Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 34th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Enrico Petrini in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Soroca F.C.'s Max Josef Justice. The audience was convinced that Adrián Espadas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Raymond was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Adrián Espadas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Francisco Raymond came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrián Espadas slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 39th minute. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Edvin Dalgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the match, Adrián Espadas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francisco Raymond, 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Club's goalkeeper Francisco Raymond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adrián Espadas might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Raymond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adrián Espadas ran back to his position shaking his head. Francisco Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 55th minute of play. Francisco Raymond came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas. But to his dismay, Adrián Espadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C.'s Romulo Thomas was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. Francisco Raymond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Răzvan Necula notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Racing Club's Francisco Raymond. Francisco Raymond was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 68th minute, Francisco Dolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Hernan Lano. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Racing Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Dolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Venceslao, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 72nd minute, Cyprien Combaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Răzvan Necula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Raymond. Racing Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Răzvan Necula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 83rd minute Enrico Petrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Edvin Dalgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dan Wennerqvist having to make a save. Francisco Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Răzvan Necula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Răzvan Necula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Raymond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Necula came free, but Francisco Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soroca F.C. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Racing Club for a fine match.
