The audience thought a goal was coming when Moise Bădiță got free with Francisco Raymond in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timoteo Firmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francisco Raymond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timoteo Firmo ran back to his position shaking his head. Racing Club's Francisco Raymond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Firmo in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Racing Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leonardo Frazier was slow to take the kick. During this time Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moise Bădiță got free with Francisco Raymond in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisco Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Ȓᾄvἔᾗṩ Ғ.Ƈ.'s Igor Stephen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Francisco Raymond made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Racing Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Moise Bădiță scored to the left of an out of position Francisco Raymond, making the score, 2-0. In the 45th minute, Francisco Dolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Raymond acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Leonardo Frazier. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dante Teyo hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
Gavino Hitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Vicente Bartoleme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moise Bădiță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Raymond having to interfere. Timoteo Firmo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Raymond read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play.
