Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Juan Carlos Alvarez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 16th minute Linus Fredriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Orlondon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Orlondon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Fredriksson in the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fermin Arixo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Orlondon saved Perros del sur from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Dionisio Panpili shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Orlondon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Arixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CJ Riquelme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Juan Carlos Alvarez made a huge save. Gonzalo Chesus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juan Carlos Alvarez having to make a save. Linus Fredriksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miguel Orlondon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Perros del sur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ismael Iglesias was slow to take the kick. During this time Marlin FC's players had a chance to rest. Aybek Orcun made a great header on Marlin FC's corner, it was just that Perros del sur's Miguel Orlondon managed to reach the ball for a save. When Jose Eriz fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perros del sur's protests and gave Jose Eriz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Perros del sur getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jose Eriz hit a great ball. Miguel Orlondon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Linus Fredriksson in the 40th minute of the match. The throw-in from Gonzalo Chesus in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Marlin FC's Melchor Oidor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Panpili in the 46th minute of play forced Perros del sur's goalkeeper Miguel Orlondon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Perros del sur players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Marlin FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Viator made a kick off. Wilfredo Rayman charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfredo Rayman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wilfredo Rayman kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The shot was a little too simple and Miguel Orlondon could save by the left post. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Perros del sur's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ismael Iglesias was slow to take the kick. During this time Marlin FC's players had a chance to rest. Marlin FC's Ismael Iglesias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Miguel Orlondon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Miguel Orlondon came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Marlin FC's Fermin Arixo. But to his dismay, Fermin Arixo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. With a little luck, Perros del sur's Miguel Orlondon got control of the ball when Linus Fredriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from CJ Riquelme, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Riquelme in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Arixo got free with Miguel Orlondon in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Carlos Alvarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Viator, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A nice corner shot did that Ismael Iglesias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Orlondon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Perros del sur's Jose Eriz got a free kick in the 90th minute. A hard shot 92 in the game by Linus Fredriksson from a close distance when the talented Miguel Orlondon managed to make a qualified save. Perros del sur's players were relieved. Thanks to Marlin FC's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Sixto Aimar tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Juan Carlos Alvarez seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. After a long run with the ball, Sixto Aimar did a trick in the 95th minute in front of Marlin FC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-2. An impressive performance by Perros del sur's Sixto Aimar! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Marlin FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
