Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cato Evenstad took the kick off in the first half of the match. Emil Majtyka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karsten Hveding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Majtyka in the 10th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Cato Evenstad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Norway and the U21 Poland players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to U21 Norway getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cato Evenstad hit a great ball. In the 13th minute of the match Alfred Mentis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karsten Hveding skillfully saved the ball. In the 14th minute of the match, Emil Majtyka tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Karsten Hveding saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wit Bronkala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stian Systad in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Cato Evenstad came free, but Wit Bronkala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Emil Majtyka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cato Evenstad in the 21st minute of play forced U21 Poland's goalkeeper Wit Bronkala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emil Majtyka got free with Karsten Hveding in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Emil Majtyka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Hveding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Majtyka in the 26th minute of play forced U21 Norway's goalkeeper Karsten Hveding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Juan Raúl Škarpa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Raúl Škarpa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karsten Hveding was a little too slow when Emil Majtyka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 42nd minute Emil Majtyka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karsten Hveding saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to U21 Norway getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tom Oma hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Alfred Mentis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karsten Hveding showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Aleksander Ødegården with Cato Evenstad as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Walkowski to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Alfred Mentis made a precise shot to the right of Karsten Hveding. U21 Norway's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Karsten Hveding came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Poland's Adam Walkowski. But to his dismay, Adam Walkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Raúl Škarpa during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. U21 Poland's Wit Bronkala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Poland from getting a goal against them. Karsten Hveding showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Walkowski in the 63rd minute of the match. Adam Walkowski struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Karsten Hveding didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Poland. In the 86th minute, Olgierd Poling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karsten Hveding was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Zbyszko Mazierz struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Karsten Hveding didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Poland.
