After some careless play in the Obrero Barquisimeto defense, Alfred Babicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arne Teuben. The Obrero Barquisimeto fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arne Teuben should have stopped the shot. Arne Teuben took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damazy Posadzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Obrero Barquisimeto getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jiang Lin hit a great ball. Patryk Snaza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Arne Teuben tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piotr Lech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Akerman in the 36th minute of the match. Obrero Barquisimeto were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after The Irons Chorzów's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erwin-Alexander De La Rosa-Choca took the corner. 47 minutes into the match, Marcos Akerman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Piotr Lech. The Irons Chorzów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Akerman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Thanks to some nice moves Pawel Kochanowski could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Arne Teuben however easily saved by the left post. When Marcos Akerman came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Obrero Barquisimeto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Akerman couldn't finish the play. Obrero Barquisimeto's Arne Teuben played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Posadzki in the 61st minute of play. Obrero Barquisimeto's Odilon Marcha managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Marian Duda in the 62 minute of the game. Marcos Akerman's late challenge caught a The Irons Chorzów's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Akerman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Marcos Akerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piotr Lech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Akerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Arne Teuben had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pawel Kochanowski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Akerman in the 73rd minute of play forced The Irons Chorzów's goalkeeper Piotr Lech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Teuben showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Posadzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Obrero Barquisimeto's Marcos Akerman got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Akerman in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Piotr Lech saved The Irons Chorzów from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Vasaburu in the 87th minute of play forced The Irons Chorzów's goalkeeper Piotr Lech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, The Irons Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Akerman came free, but Piotr Lech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 97 minutes into the game, Damazy Posadzki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arne Teuben. Damazy Posadzki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The The Irons Chorzów players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Obrero Barquisimeto from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
