The referee ignored Gurdurão's protests and gave Dalmo Santos a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Gurdurão got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo Santos. Gurdurão made a substitution. Tião Moura replaced Fausto Orlondon. In the 48th match minute, Gurdurão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Santos to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Villamarina AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
