In the 6th minute of the game Zenon Galagan made a throw-in which Eric Luican played forward. Adolfo Adrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Horhoianu in the 7th minute of play. Bernabe Rojas struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Baldomiro Txindoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 0 descensos. 0 descensos's Adolfo Adrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Arósio in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to 0 descensos getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Lucas-James Joshua hit a great ball. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 17th minute of play forced 0 descensos's goalkeeper Adolfo Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Lucas-James Joshua fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Baldomiro Txindoki, passed just outside the right post. If Orçun Yalınalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orçun Yalınalp took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adolfo Adrio. Adolfo Adrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Adolfo Adrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrică Cândreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Baldomiro Txindoki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 minutes of play, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Wilson Arósio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adolfo Adrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orçun Yalınalp to make the kick off. Adolfo Adrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orçun Yalınalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 0 descensos's Lucas-James Joshua got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Bernabe Rojas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomiro Txindoki. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernabe Rojas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game was made by Hector Grabiel with Wilson Arósio as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Baldomiro Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Rojas in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, 0 descensos's Bernabe Rojas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Txindoki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 70 minutes into the match, Bernabe Rojas notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki. Baldomiro Txindoki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baldomiro Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Rojas, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Wilson Arósio came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adolfo Adrio could save by the left post. In the 74th minute FC UNIREA Alba Iulia were awarded a corner. Petrică Cândreanu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Petrică Cândreanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Adolfo Adrio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Hector Grabiel's late challenge caught a 0 descensos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Grabiel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of 0 descensos booed when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Grabiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Txindoki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernabe Rojas went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the match, 0 descensos's Bernabe Rojas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomiro Txindoki narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adolfo Adrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Cândreanu in the 87th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Bernabe Rojas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 0 descensos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Rojas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Rojas in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Txindoki saved FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting behind. Robustiano Lico hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th match minute, 0 descensos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas-James Joshua to maneuver through the defense. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
