To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertinho Leite in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Markusson saved New England Minas from getting behind. 97 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Monsalve came free, but Martin Markusson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
