In the 5th minute Laurgain Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandrinho Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 played minutes AF CERRADO got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Abraão. Sandrinho Sabóia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Laurgain Ruiz took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandrinho Sabóia. Sandrinho Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. AF CERRADO's Sandrinho Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurgain Ruiz in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Castro in the 20th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Sandrinho Sabóia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Evaristo Castro made a precise shot to the right of Sandrinho Sabóia. AF CERRADO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Ismael Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thiago Damião. Evaristo Castro took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandrinho Sabóia. Sandrinho Sabóia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 34th play minutes Laurgain Ruiz shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Sandrinho Sabóia and just under the crossbar into goal. MAZER SAF's Ismael Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Damião in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by MAZER SAF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nestor Cordeiro was slow to take the kick. During this time AF CERRADO's players had a chance to rest. After the first half MAZER SAF were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thiago Damião was the one to do the kick off. Rafa Alves spun around in front of the goal 53 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of AF CERRADO's goal. Ismael Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, AF CERRADO's Sandrinho Sabóia got control of the ball when Rafa Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. AF CERRADO's Sandrinho Sabóia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurgain Ruiz in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simão das Neves during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. MAZER SAF's Murillo Lima was substituted for Evaristo Castro. MAZER SAF's Kang Wei Lin was substituted for Rafa Alves. Ismael Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Goiano in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Thiago Damião got a free kick in the 84th minute. Augusto Sein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murillo Lima did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Sandrinho Sabóia 90 minutes into the match. MAZER SAF played a much better game than AF CERRADO and deserved their victory. The AF CERRADO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
