After a rather tough play, HURACAN's Sebastian Nafarroa got a free kick in the 10th minute. Segundo Katia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guilherme Basso's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Plebeyos's Guilherme Basso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Segundo Katia. In the 22nd minute, Plebeyos's Emil Kostadinov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Emil Kostadinov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Plebeyos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Emil Kostadinov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

HURACAN's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Plebeyos had won, even though HURACAN had held more of the ball.
