In the 28th minute Sermet Tacal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinícius Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Bebela's goal looked a bit too open when Stuart Legzdins came free, but Vinícius Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bebela players wondered just what they needed to do win this one. 105 minutes had now been played and the teams were still tied. Penalties were starting to look likely.

The players looked a little tired but resolute before the second half of the overtime, where Stuart Legzdins took the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stuart Legzdins in the 119th minute of play forced Bebela's goalkeeper Vinícius Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Atso Joenväärä almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bebela's Vinícius Novaes did a great save. Silvério Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 122nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Neves having to interfere. In the 125th minute, Serafino Marz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bebela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
