Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Hardalov in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanislaw Tyszka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Opsluis's Julio Gómez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Opsluis from getting a goal against them. Hans Hagen's late challenge caught a Opsluis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sabri Kutberk showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Sabri Kutberk in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Gómez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marick Witters struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Stanislaw Tyszka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Opsluis. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Sabri Kutberk made the kick off in the second half. Lionel Mesías's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Gómez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Lionel Mesías shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Gómez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Gómez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Opsluis's Julio Gómez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabri Kutberk in the 78th minute of play. When Herbert Martineau fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Opsluis's protests and gave Herbert Martineau a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gebrüdersdorfer SV booed when Opsluis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Martineau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Sabri Kutberk made a precise shot to the right of Julio Gómez. Opsluis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Opsluis players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gebrüdersdorfer SV.
