Syd Cullen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Ortle's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ive Volckaerts in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicanor Frutos saved Lomas Athletic Club from getting behind. In the 30thth minute of the game Franklin de Queiroz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lomas Athletic Club's Nicanor Frutos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cesar Ortle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 minutes of play, Real Death Ducks's Ive Volckaerts made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Frutos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicanor Frutos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franklin de Queiroz went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 41st minute, Wen Feng Shi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augustin Cârstea might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicanor Frutos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augustin Cârstea ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Egun in the 47th minute of play forced Real Death Ducks's goalkeeper Syd Cullen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Egun to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lomas Athletic Club's Serafino Beti got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 62nd minute, Cesar Ortle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lomas Athletic Club's goalkeeper Nicanor Frutos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicanor Frutos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin de Queiroz in the 66th minute of play. Real Death Ducks's D.J. Smith was substituted for Wen Feng Shi. Real Death Ducks's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
