Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Ciudad in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ludomil Kajdasz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Léon Monnet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7thth minute of the game Tomas Ciudad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herblay's Ludomil Kajdasz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Ciudad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludomil Kajdasz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léon Monnet in the 12th minute of play forced Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Vincenzo Landa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Léon Monnet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ciudad Tao FC's Vincenzo Landa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Vincenzo Landa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Léon Monnet in the 13th minute of play. With his leg Ludomil Kajdasz managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Ciudad Tao FC's Tomas Ciudad fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ciudad Tao FC's Tomas Ciudad was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 17th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Cadart in the 22nd minute of play forced Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Vincenzo Landa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léon Monnet scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincenzo Landa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norbert Cadart in the 27th minute of play forced Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Vincenzo Landa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vincenzo Landa came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Herblay's Norbert Cadart. But to his dismay, Norbert Cadart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 29 played minutes Ciudad Tao FC got a freekick which was hit by Rasmus Jönsson. 34 minutes into the match, Norbert Cadart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincenzo Landa. Ciudad Tao FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norbert Cadart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 38th minute of play forced Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Vincenzo Landa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Antonin Dagorne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincenzo Landa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Léon Monnet was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Noureddine Gerbeau hit a great ball. In the 54th minute, Tomas Ciudad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludomil Kajdasz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After a rather tough play, Herblay's Joël Willaume got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ciudad Tao FC's Joel Sandström was substituted for Güralp Orkun. In the 59th match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joël Willaume to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Tomas Ciudad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Kajdasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciudad Tao FC's Vincenzo Landa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Ciudad Tao FC from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Ciudad Tao FC's goalkeeper Vincenzo Landa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dimitri Bougault. With his leg Vincenzo Landa managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Herblay's Léon Monnet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Tomas Ciudad fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ciudad Tao FC's protests and gave Tomas Ciudad a yellow card for diving instead. Tomas Ciudad kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ciudad Tao FC made a substitution. Marc Zoolingen replaced Adrian Gråberg. Ciudad Tao FC's Miron Zabel was substituted for Tomas Ciudad. Tomas Ciudad hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute of the game Noureddine Gerbeau made a throw-in which Dimitri Bougault played forward. In the 72nd minute, Rasmus Jönsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciudad Tao FC's Vincenzo Landa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Ciudad Tao FC from getting a goal against them. Ciudad Tao FC's Vincenzo Landa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitri Bougault in the 80th minute of play. Miron Zabel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludomil Kajdasz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. In the 84th minute, Miron Zabel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ludomil Kajdasz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. When Léon Monnet came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Herblay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Léon Monnet couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léon Monnet got free with Vincenzo Landa in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Léon Monnet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vincenzo Landa. That made the score 3-4 in the 92 minute of play.
