The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, David Gagriel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 3rd minute, Benigno Chago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Panait Moldovan notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Nuevo Horizonte's Tiburcio Egoi. Tiburcio Egoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Răzvan Florescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Tiburcio Egoi made a huge save. Isidor Quintarnaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Lapurdi in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Frățilă in the 19th minute of play forced Nuevo Horizonte's goalkeeper Tiburcio Egoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nuevo Horizonte getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Guido Lucero hit a great ball. Tiburcio Egoi came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Panait Moldovan. But to his dismay, Panait Moldovan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Frățilă in the 23rd minute of play forced Nuevo Horizonte's goalkeeper Tiburcio Egoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Panait Moldovan got free with Tiburcio Egoi in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mihai Grozuță had several of the Nuevo Horizonte's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 25 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Tiburcio Egoi as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 29th minute of the match FC Arges Dacia Pitesti got a corner. Nuevo Horizonte's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marian Găvan ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 33rd minute Mihai Grozuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Egoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuevo Horizonte's Tiburcio Egoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Florescu in the 34th minute of play. Tiburcio Egoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Frățilă in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Răzvan Florescu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Tiburcio Egoi made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Mihai Grozuță sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Lapurdi came free, but Isidor Quintarnaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 43rd minute of the game, when Marian Găvan after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Nuevo Horizonte's goal. Marian Găvan was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Isidor Quintarnaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Lapurdi in the 45th minute of play. Nuevo Horizonte's Tiburcio Egoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Nuevo Horizonte from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

FC Arges Dacia Pitesti made a substitution. Valentin Ştefănică replaced Răzvan Florescu. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihai Grozuță was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Stelian Frățilă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiburcio Egoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 58 minutes into the game, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Panait Moldovan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiburcio Egoi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Tiburcio Egoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Găvan in the 63rd minute of the match. Valentin Ştefănică took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Egoi. Tiburcio Egoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After 69 minutes of play, FC Arges Dacia Pitesti's Mihai Grozuță made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiburcio Egoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mihai Grozuță scored 10-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiburcio Egoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FC Arges Dacia Pitesti getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Marian Găvan hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Valentin Ştefănică made a precise shot to the right of Tiburcio Egoi. Nuevo Horizonte's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Tiburcio Egoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihăiţă Şoimu in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute Valentin Ştefănică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Egoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidor Quintarnaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Lucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihai Grozuță in the 90th minute of play forced Nuevo Horizonte's goalkeeper Tiburcio Egoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Valentin Ştefănică shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Egoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Arges Dacia Pitesti had played much better football throughout.
