In the 3rd minute, Ahmet Efe Suheyl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alisson Becker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alisson Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witalis Brysz in the 8th minute of play. Jon-Egil Schjelderup made a great header on Poetass FC's corner, it was just that Real Juniors's Alisson Becker managed to reach the ball for a save. Jon-Egil Schjelderup shot a long shot in the 9th minute and a light blocked Alisson Becker hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. Alisson Becker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Witalis Brysz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Juniors's Alisson Becker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witalis Brysz in the 24th minute of play. Ahmet Efe Suheyl might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Maria Goiano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Efe Suheyl ran back to his position shaking his head. Ahmet Efe Suheyl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but José Maria Goiano made a huge save. José Maria Goiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Efe Suheyl's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Kalle Billberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poetass FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalle Billberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alisson Becker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Fernando de Lara made in the 34th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Zeng Xu Yuan. Alisson Becker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jon-Egil Schjelderup, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Efe Suheyl got free with José Maria Goiano in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. José Maria Goiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Kazczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Zeng Xu Yuan came free, but Alisson Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeng Xu Yuan spun around in front of the goal 42 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Real Juniors's goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Efe Suheyl to make the kick off. José Maria Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Sebastian Kazczyk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Maria Goiano having to make a save. If Kalle Billberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 59 minutes into the match, Real Juniors's goalkeeper Alisson Becker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeng Xu Yuan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 60th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper José Maria Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute of the match Real Juniors got a corner. Poetass FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roland Redondo ran over to the corner to take the kick. José Maria Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Efe Suheyl in the 63rd minute of the match. Rosario Cornett hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Poetass FC made a substitution. Cleiton Carioca replaced Witold Bronicki. With an all-out effort, Poetass FC's Alisson Becker threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Witalis Brysz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. José Maria Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Redondo in the 71st minute of play. If Ahmet Efe Suheyl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Efe Suheyl came free, but José Maria Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Efe Suheyl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Real Juniors's Claudio Cabrera was substituted for Rosario Cornett. Real Juniors's Miguel Ángel Benito was substituted for Ahmet Efe Suheyl.
