Sebastian Kazczyk hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. If Bror Nordstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Redondo in the 24th minute of play forced INTER Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Patryk Olejarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Real Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Galoer. Ethan Mbappè's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alisson Becker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

INTER Sosnowiec made a substitution. Eugeniusz Kociniewski replaced Traian Băsescu. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ahmet Efe Suheyl to make the kick off.
