George Maldini was slow to take the kick. During this time Three Lions FC's players had a chance to rest. With a little luck, Pragmáticos 1903's Fabrício Adriel got control of the ball when George Messi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. George Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Kajetan Filanowski hit a great ball. George Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Three Lions FC's George Lukaku got a free kick in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the match, Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis came free, but George Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Pragmáticos 1903 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrício Adriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, George Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Three Lions FC's supporters rose to their feet, but George Messi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabrício Adriel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Messi in the 76th minute of play forced Pragmáticos 1903's goalkeeper Fabrício Adriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Ekeroth in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Adriel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Three Lions FC's George Buffon got control of the ball when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis tried to sneak it across the goal line.
