Kubat Aydınoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İsrafil Yağız, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by İsrafil Yağız in the 6th minute of play forced Giresun United F.K ©'s goalkeeper Kubat Aydınoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alemdar Oykan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mustafa Kemal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the game, FK Mintis Vilnius's Arūnas Pukelis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kubat Aydınoğlu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, FK Mintis Vilnius's goal looked a bit too open when Vidyo Shaprin came free, but Mustafa Kemal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game İsrafil Yağız who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Giresun United F.K ©'s Kubat Aydınoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tomas Danilevičius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Kubat Aydınoğlu made a huge save. The supporters of Giresun United F.K © booed when FK Mintis Vilnius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Grimi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giresun United F.K ©'s Kubat Aydınoğlu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Giresun United F.K © from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Giresun United F.K ©'s Kubat Aydınoğlu got control of the ball when Arūnas Pukelis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mustafa Kemal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidyo Shaprin in the 41st minute of the match. Vidyo Shaprin took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mustafa Kemal. Mustafa Kemal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Danilevičius to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Tomas Danilevičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kubat Aydınoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Matildo Ubakivi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mustafa Kemal was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arūnas Pukelis in the 72nd minute of play forced Giresun United F.K ©'s goalkeeper Kubat Aydınoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kubat Aydınoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Danilevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kubat Aydınoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Danilevičius in the 78th minute of play. If Ubaldo Matildo Ubakivi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigitas Jakubauskas in the 90th minute of play forced Giresun United F.K ©'s goalkeeper Kubat Aydınoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giresun United F.K ©'s supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FK Mintis Vilnius had won, even though Giresun United F.K © had held more of the ball.
