Carolo Bernat charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carolo Bernat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Carolo Bernat got a free kick in the 18th minute. Benicio Javiero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gernando Pernambucano's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 27th minute, Ethan Rushmere left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Gernando Pernambucano hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso's Gernando Pernambucano got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Freddy Restu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell made a huge save. Benicio Javiero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gernando Pernambucano in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Gernando Pernambucano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Javiero. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernando Pernambucano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 43 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Olentzaro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso's Kristiyan Pirkov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 45th minute, Gernando Pernambucano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benicio Javiero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.

Lisandro Beltxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Javiero having to interfere. With a little luck, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Benicio Javiero got control of the ball when Åke Hellström tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gernando Pernambucano in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Javiero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benicio Javiero was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Gernando Pernambucano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gernando Pernambucano really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Gernando Pernambucano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute Lisandro Beltxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Javiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Atlético Nuevo Laredo's Rigoberto Olentzaro got a free kick in the 69th minute. Benicio Javiero was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gernando Pernambucano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 70 minute of play. Gernando Pernambucano did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Benicio Javiero 73 minutes into the match. Benicio Javiero made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Gernando Pernambucano sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 79 in the game by Gernando Pernambucano from a close distance when the talented Benicio Javiero managed to make a qualified save. Atlético Nuevo Laredo's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Nuevo Laredo's zone, Åke Hellström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Javiero came out of the goal and Åke Hellström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gernando Pernambucano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Javiero came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Liga Esporte Paulo Afonso's Gernando Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Gernando Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10.
