Tarada's Henrick Zeier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孟朗彬 in the 41st minute of play. Iker Casillas came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Tarada's Adam Wielowiejski. But to his dismay, Adam Wielowiejski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Tarada were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tarada's Massimo Wechsler was substituted for Leif Kohler. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Urritz was the one to do the kick off. Iker Casillas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stian Aarflot, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stian Aarflot in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iker Casillas prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
