Delfim Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Aparecido in the 9th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Catarinense came free, but Silvinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Flavinho Velloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilio Lain struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Delfim Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Braga Junior FC. 26 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Veiga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilfredo Cefero. Wilfredo Cefero in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silvinho Veiga, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Aparecido in the 29th minute of play. Falcão Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Cefero got free with Silvinho Veiga in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Catarinense in the 37th minute of play forced Braga Junior FC's goalkeeper Silvinho Veiga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Vítor Aparecido made a kick off. A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by 鲁飞翔 with Perico Ferrer as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 55th minute Joel Catarinense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvinho Veiga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Duarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 59thth minute of the game José Vítor Aparecido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Galo do Japi's Delfim Chaves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvinho Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvinho Veiga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Cefero's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Braga Junior FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perico Ferrer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Joinvilense was substituted for Joel Catarinense. Perico Ferrer kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Braga Junior FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Lain to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Joinvilense notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Braga Junior FC's Silvinho Veiga. Silvinho Veiga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvinho Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Joinvilense in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Edison Brena threw the ball into play from the sideline. Galo do Japi's Roberto Neiva quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Galo do Japi's Roberto Neiva quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Perico Ferrer, made in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 84thth minute of the game Wilfredo Cefero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Braga Junior FC's Silvinho Veiga was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hélio Vaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Delfim Chaves made a huge save. 90 minutes into the match, Braga Junior FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Joinvilense came free, but Silvinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvinho Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Cefero in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Braga Junior FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Galo do Japi.
