Emilian Bâlea started the match with the kick off. Fernando Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilian Bâlea in the 3rd minute of the match. Ahmet Paşa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vitinho Peixoto hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Fernando Courtois stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Paşa's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Nevşehirspor's goal looked a bit too open when Wilian Gulak came free, but Leonard Gregersen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 20th minute of the game was made by Ender Pekinturk with Gao Xi Di as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Emilian Bâlea came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Nevşehirspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilian Bâlea couldn't finish the play. Baturalp Adar hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, Agro Imortal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mário Quirino to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Paşa in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Courtois saved Agro Imortal from getting behind. Fernando Courtois came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nevşehirspor's Ahmet Paşa. But to his dismay, Ahmet Paşa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Nevşehirspor booed when Agro Imortal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Paşa in the 36th minute of the match. After 40 minutes, Vitinho Peixoto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agro Imortal and the Nevşehirspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Vitinho Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute Gao Xi Di shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilian Gulak to make the kick off. In the 64th minute, Aloísio Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agro Imortal's Dennis Bergkamp was substituted for Wilian Gulak. After 65 played minutes Nevşehirspor got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Senna. 67 minutes into the match, Agro Imortal's Dennis Bergkamp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonard Gregersen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nevşehirspor's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hector Sarmiento was slow to take the kick. During this time Agro Imortal's players had a chance to rest. When Vitinho Peixoto came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Agro Imortal fans jumped to their feet. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
