Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Arsenio Cristos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd play minute Serafino Geofredo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aristides Bras. 1-0. After 5 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Truylos. In the 8th minute Arsenio Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Romero in the 12th minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Aristides Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aristides Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro Romero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Cleto Gabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Serafino Geofredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Potrero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Alejo Nerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Serafino Geofredo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aristides Bras. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. The supporters of Caballeritos del Baile booed when C. A. Potrero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Gaufred scored 3-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Steven, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Serafino Geofredo made the kick off in the second half. Javier Steven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Quin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Serafino Geofredo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aristides Bras was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After having played for 59 minutes, Serafino Geofredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Potrero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafino Geofredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Javier Steven made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Arsenio Cristos sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of C. A. Potrero booed when Caballeritos del Baile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Serapio didn't get a good kick on the ball. C. A. Potrero's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arsenio Cristos 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-2. In the 73rd minute Zeledon Quin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Omar Fagondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to C. A. Potrero getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alejo Nerio hit a great ball. Caballeritos del Baile's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
