In the 2nd minute, Jaime Mundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amador Jakue came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by C. A. Potrero's Santiago Argenis. But to his dismay, Santiago Argenis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Serafino Geofredo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Isidoro Birjaio charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Birjaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to C. A. Potrero getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Isidoro Birjaio hit a great ball. The supporters of C. A. Potrero booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Mundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Loi to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, C. A. Potrero's Serafino Geofredo tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With 23 minutes on the clock, Everardo Loi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Leones FC:s Amador Jakue showed great skill when he stopped Serafino Geofredo:s penalty. 2-0 came in the 25th minute when Serafino Geofredo all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Amador Jakue. In the 27th match minute, C. A. Potrero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Lehior to maneuver through the defense. Esteve Abar struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Javier Steven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leones FC. Potrero's goalkeeper Javier Steven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Amador Jakue showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesar Gora, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Leones FC's zone, Serafino Geofredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Jakue came out of the goal and Serafino Geofredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafino Geofredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amador Jakue read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Martin Rami's late challenge caught a C. A. Potrero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Rami helped the player get up and apologised. Alejo Nerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Amador Jakue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amador Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafino Geofredo in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, C. A. Potrero's Niceto Lehior got a free kick in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the game, Jaime Mundo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Javier Steven. Jaime Mundo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C. A. Potrero fully deserved thier win.
