The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Isadore got free with Saul Etxeberri in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelino Isadore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SuperChango's Fabricio Unax got a free kick in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Confesor came free, but Humberto Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Marcelino Isadore made the kick off in the second half. Humberto Sotero made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Agustin Jakobe sent off a good shot on target. SuperChango's Humberto Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Clemencin in the 53rd minute of play. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Rafael Licerio with Pablo Clemencin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Santos Confesor kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SuperChango's Nemesio Cefero got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Saul Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Isadore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Clemencin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Sotero having to interfere. 95 minutes into the game, Prudencio Uxio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Fernando Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SuperChango the free kick. Prudencio Uxio kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 96 played minutes, SuperChango's Nemesio Froila shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Saul Etxeberri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SuperChango reached it. For all the effort they put into the match, the San Fernando Eagles players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SuperChango.
