In the 33rd minute Flavio Illart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Ondino in the 35th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Zacarias Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Chuscha FC - Ψ -'s goalkeeper Sabino Scapini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Vidal. With a left leg Zacarias Abreu saved Black Rose 1979 from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Norberto Medardo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Jaen during the 79th minute. Sabino Scapini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Celedonio Iraitz charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celedonio Iraitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivan Dolcet hit a great ball. Black Rose 1979's Cristo Furtado got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
