Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Abar got the match started through his kick off. In the 8thth minute of the game Leandro Iratxo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Q. T. I.'s Filomeno Perrando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Iratxo in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Perrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Leandro Iratxo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Filomeno Perrando. Q. T. I.'s Filomeno Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Fernendo in the 19th minute of play. Paulino Fernendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Filomeno Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Talleres de Escalada booed when Q. T. I. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Chaime didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Osvaldo Paublo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Q. T. I.'s Gaston Stanislao got a free kick in the 29th minute. Filomeno Perrando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Iratxo went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 35 played minutes Q. T. I. got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Abar. Leandro Iratxo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Iratxo in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filomeno Perrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leandro Iratxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Perrando having to interfere. A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Reynaldo Cuartio hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes Q. T. I. got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Cruz. Filomeno Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Iratxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Gutxi was a little too slow when Jaime Abar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Iratxo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niceto Gutxi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Abar in the 54th minute of play. Paulino Fernendo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Filomeno Perrando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Niceto Gutxi came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Q. T. I.'s Jaime Abar. But to his dismay, Jaime Abar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulino Fernendo got free with Filomeno Perrando in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Q. T. I. defense, Paulino Fernendo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filomeno Perrando. The Q. T. I. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filomeno Perrando should have stopped the shot. Filomeno Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Ostadar, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd minute, Jaime Abar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Anselmo Afonso from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Filomeno Perrando's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Q. T. I.'s Filomeno Perrando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Q. T. I. from getting a goal against them. Filomeno Perrando made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Paulino Fernendo sent off a good shot on target. Cosme Lauren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Perrando having to interfere. When Paulino Fernendo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Talleres de Escalada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Fernendo couldn't finish the play. Filomeno Perrando came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres de Escalada's Leandro Iratxo. But to his dismay, Leandro Iratxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. Osvaldo Paublo hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Q. T. I.'s Jacinto Cidro tried to score from far away in the 98th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Talleres de Escalada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Talleres de Escalada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
