Gaspar Cordarryl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Cecilio Mantzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, SAN LORENZO FC's Maximino Ofelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cecilio Mantzio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alfredo Iratzeder charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Iratzeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Alfredo Iratzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute Maximino Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Mantzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Nereo Timo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Eliseo Jenaro in the 22nd minute really tested Primitivo Salomone's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Reynaldo Izotz hit a great ball. Vicente Leguizamón hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Bernardo Romeo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Romeo in the 32nd minute of play forced ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Cecilio Mantzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Izotz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SAN LORENZO FC the free kick. Cecilio Mantzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Ofelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Astor Bero's late challenge caught a SAN LORENZO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Bero helped the player get up and apologised. Astor Bero kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Ofelio was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Cordarryl came free, but Cecilio Mantzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cecilio Mantzio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Romeo in the 58th minute. SAN LORENZO FC's Primitivo Salomone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Jenaro in the 60th minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Oto came free, but Primitivo Salomone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes, Fermin Oto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ and the SAN LORENZO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ booed when SAN LORENZO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Romeo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the SAN LORENZO FC defense, Fernando Aimar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Primitivo Salomone. The SAN LORENZO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Primitivo Salomone should have stopped the shot. In the 74th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nereo Timo to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Bero in the 76th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Cecilio Mantzio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Ofelio. After a rather tough play, ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's Vicente Leguizamón got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
