If Ramiro Quin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Fliz in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Etxeberri saved Menchu FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Restu in the 28th minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Etxeberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute Rene Restu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Dominix came free, but Teodosio Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Baldovino made a kick off. If Rene Restu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filiberto Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Restu in the 64th minute of the match. Rene Restu had several of the Menchu FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Filiberto Etxeberri as he didn't even see the shot coming. Filiberto Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Sosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Santiago Sosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filiberto Etxeberri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Filiberto Etxeberri successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Menchu FC's Filiberto Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Restu in the 76th minute of play. Filiberto Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Sosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Baldovino in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute Rene Restu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Deportivo Balvanera could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Menchu FC throughout the match.
