After 9 played minutes, Marlin FC's Roberto Teyo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tiburcio Tartalo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marlin FC reached it. Anier Sazon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tiburcio Tartalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Asesinos Por Naturaleza's goal looked a bit too open when Gregorio Loi came free, but Tiburcio Tartalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Prudencio Chuse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Tiburcio Tartalo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Timoteo Evis was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Domingo Hernando capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Domingo Hernando really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. 24 minutes into the game, Domingo Hernando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Asesinos Por Naturaleza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marlin FC the free kick. A collision led to Asesinos Por Naturaleza getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Domingo Hernando hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Chuse in the 29th minute of play forced Asesinos Por Naturaleza's goalkeeper Tiburcio Tartalo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaac Gaztea succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 31st playminute. Gregorio Loi took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Tartalo. Tiburcio Tartalo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 43rd minute Prudencio Chuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaac Gaztea made a kick off. Tiburcio Tartalo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Prudencio Chuse showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 55 minute of play. Tiburcio Tartalo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Anier Sazon sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Marlin FC's Tiburcio Tartalo threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anier Sazon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Timoteo Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Gaztea in the 63rd minute of play. Roberto Teyo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tiburcio Tartalo came out and tried to block the shot, but Roberto Teyo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 68th minute. After 72 played minutes Asesinos Por Naturaleza got a freekick which was hit by Christian Abaunza. With his leg Tiburcio Tartalo managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Marlin FC's Gregorio Loi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Asesinos Por Naturaleza booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Erlantz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Prudencio Chuse shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Tartalo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Tartalo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anier Sazon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match, Gregorio Loi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tiburcio Tartalo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marlin FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
