Primitivo Salomone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Gamus in the 6th minute of play. When Mauricio Gaur fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jarana FC's protests and gave Mauricio Gaur a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Jarana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Gaur to maneuver through the defense. When Maximino Ofelio came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the SAN LORENZO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Ofelio couldn't finish the play. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Jarana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Todor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clodoveo Vellito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gervasio Oier. Jarana FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute Maximino Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Oier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Gavino Fortun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Oier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Primitivo Salomone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Gaur, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 28thth minute of the game Rolando Todor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAN LORENZO FC's Primitivo Salomone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Ofelio in the 30th minute of play forced Jarana FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Oier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gavino Fortun hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Bernardo Romeo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gervasio Oier having to make a save. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Clodoveo Corderro got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 47th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Romeo to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maximino Ofelio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Bernardo Romeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Oier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 52 played minutes Jarana FC got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Menendo. Maximino Ofelio scored 2-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Oier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Primitivo Salomone was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Mauricio Gaur capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mauricio Gaur really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Jarana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, SAN LORENZO FC's Ricardo Cordearo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes, Jarana FC's Serafin Menendo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Primitivo Salomone came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jarana FC reached it. After some careless play in the Jarana FC defense, Bernardo Romeo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gervasio Oier. The Jarana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gervasio Oier should have stopped the shot. SAN LORENZO FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
