Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Melchor Montes made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes, German Cordera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Unidad de Matanza and the Menchu FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, German Cordera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute Melchor Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Etxeberri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Baldovino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Octavio Raymond when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edgard Baldovino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Octavio Raymond made a huge save. Leon Pero struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Filiberto Etxeberri didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unidad de Matanza. 19 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Mincho came free, but Octavio Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filiberto Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Unidad de Matanza were awarded a corner. Uriel Perico went to the cornerflag to take it. Unidad de Matanza's Uriel Perico was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Filiberto Etxeberri in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 31 minutes into the game, Edgard Baldovino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Menchu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unidad de Matanza the free kick. After 32 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Baldovino. After 34 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Vigil. In the 35th minute of the match Santo Ganix shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiberto Etxeberri showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leonides Vigil hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Muno in the 42nd minute of play forced Menchu FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Etxeberri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Menchu FC's Filiberto Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Montes in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgard Baldovino was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Canor during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, Fabian Canor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filiberto Etxeberri came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Unidad de Matanza's Melchor Montes. But to his dismay, Melchor Montes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 64 played minutes Unidad de Matanza got a freekick which was hit by Jose Muno. Filiberto Etxeberri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melchor Montes went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Menchu FC's Benjamin Romildo was substituted for Jeremias Mincho. Menchu FC made a substitution. Jonathan Honesto replaced Edelmiro Clodio. Filiberto Etxeberri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Muno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Santo Ganix came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Unidad de Matanza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santo Ganix couldn't finish the play. Menchu FC's Filiberto Etxeberri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Ganix in the 80th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's Santo Ganix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filiberto Etxeberri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgard Baldovino was shown his second yellow card after 85 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Edgard Baldovino got a free kick in the 86th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Ourente during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Menchu FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Unidad de Matanza. Uriel Perico stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Filiberto Etxeberri. 0-3. Filiberto Etxeberri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
