The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute, Rolando Todor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timoteo Evis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marlin FC's Timoteo Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Todor in the 11th minute of play. A hard and well directed shot from Pastor Caitano led 18 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Marlin FC's Timoteo Evis became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Roberto Teyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Melchor Gamus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timoteo Evis. Marlin FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Gamus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to Jarana FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Diego Ekhi hit a great ball. Pastor Caitano's late challenge caught a Marlin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Caitano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Pastor Caitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pastor Caitano hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Timoteo Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Todor in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Wilfredo Izel made the kick off in the second half. With 52 minutes on the clock, Roberto Teyo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 51st minute, one of Marlin FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Marlin FC. After 61 played minutes Jarana FC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Caitano. Pastor Caitano was shown his second yellow card after 63 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Jarana FC's Pastor Caitano got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 67 minutes into the game, Melchor Gamus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Timoteo Evis. Melchor Gamus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Rolando Todor scored 0-7 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timoteo Evis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 81st match minute, Marlin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Izel to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Marlin FC's zone, Maximo Dalmau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timoteo Evis came out of the goal and Maximo Dalmau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Marlin FC's Wilfredo Izel got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Jarana FC's Melchor Gamus ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Timoteo Evis. Timoteo Evis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. In the 94th minute Jeremias Guillem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Oier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goalkeeper Timoteo Evis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rolando Todor. Everardo Tomi kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Timoteo Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Todor, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The Marlin FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jarana FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Jarana FC.
