After 3 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Matteo. Martin Oinatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Jaime Nafarroa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Reyes in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jaime Nafarroa saved La Gallardeta from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in La Gallardeta's zone, Lucas Reyes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Nafarroa came out of the goal and Lucas Reyes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Illan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgard Guillen. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. After 25 minutes La Gallardeta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Reyes who took care of the corner kick. The corner led La Candela FC's Lucas Reyes to fire away a dangerous shot which Jaime Nafarroa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jaime Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Reyes in the 28th minute of play. Narciso Matteo charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Matteo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Matteo. Jaime Nafarroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Reyes in the 35th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Lucas Reyes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jaime Nafarroa was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 41st match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angel Guillelmus to maneuver through the defense. During the 44th minute of the match Narciso Matteo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Narciso Matteo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Gallardeta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! The referee gave La Candela FC a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Angel Taurino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of La Gallardeta's Jaime Nafarroa. 1-2. The La Gallardeta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Candela FC were winning 1-2.

La Candela FC made a substitution. Ciro Marin replaced Martin Oinatz. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lucas Reyes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Jacobo Oalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jacobo Oalo hit a great ball. Edgard Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Eron in the 58th minute of play. Jaime Nafarroa made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Ciro Marin sent off a good shot on target. La Candela FC made a substitution. Mariano Cordaro replaced Angel Guillelmus. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Lucas Reyes sped through La Gallardeta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jaime Nafarroa. Jaime Nafarroa was a little too slow when Lucas Reyes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 1-4. Ciro Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Nafarroa made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Ciro Marin sent off a good shot on target.
