Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Basilio Demario got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Lucas Reyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, La Candela FC's Celso Nerio seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Celso Nerio the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of La Candela FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Celso Nerio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 7th minute, one of La Candela FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for La Candela FC. The goalkeeper, Edgard Guillen, was totally fooled by Monte Hermoso Beach's Marco Bixintxo, who 9 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Marcelino Ospin hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Eleuterio Aztore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Taurino hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Monte Hermoso Beach got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Matro. Lucas Reyes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Bixintxo struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Edgard Guillen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Hermoso Beach. Benito Raphael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Edgard Guillen made a huge save. Eleuterio Aztore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Cordaro in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Angel Taurino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Freddy Karmel hit a great ball. After 37 played minutes, Monte Hermoso Beach's Marcelino Ospin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edgard Guillen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Monte Hermoso Beach reached it. Marco Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Edgard Guillen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleuterio Aztore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Taurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Marco Bixintxo struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Edgard Guillen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Hermoso Beach. La Candela FC's Felix Iturri was substituted for Freddy Karmel. Monte Hermoso Beach's Benjamin Arotza was substituted for Hilario Flores. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

La Candela FC's Edgard Guillen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Joseph in the 62nd minute of play. In the 68th minute Benito Raphael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Monte Hermoso Beach getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Isidro Ourente hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Monte Hermoso Beach's Benito Raphael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgard Guillen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Edgard Guillen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Arotza in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, La Candela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Joseph came free, but Edgard Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Mariano Cordaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Candela FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Monte Hermoso Beach.
