Jesus Odilon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes, Severiano Herena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mapovihesa FC and the La Gallardeta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carmelo Jeraldo charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Jeraldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Jeraldo to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Illan was the one to do the kick off. Genaro Osoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Modesto Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 71st match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Egoitz to maneuver through the defense. When Jesus Odilon came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Mapovihesa FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Odilon couldn't finish the play. In the 90thth minute of the game Severiano Herena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Gallardeta's Jaime Nafarroa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Mapovihesa FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing La Gallardeta to win.
