La Gallardeta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Sky FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Erubiel Chuan got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Chuan to maneuver through the defense. If Pascual Eutor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nereo Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Timoteo Cresconio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernan Rios struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jaime Nafarroa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Sky FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Nereo Rufo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Sky FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nereo Rufo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Nafarroa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Eron in the 45th minute of play forced Black Sky FC's goalkeeper Eliseo Ellande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as La Gallardeta's Eliseo Illan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eliseo Ellande. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. 55 minutes into the game, Gaudencio Eron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The supporters of Black Sky FC booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Eron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute, Enrique Egoitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nereo Rufo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Nafarroa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. The corner led Black Sky FC's Saverio Weather to fire away a dangerous shot which Jaime Nafarroa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. La Gallardeta's Jaime Nafarroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Rufo in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 minutes La Gallardeta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saverio Weather who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Black Sky FC's corner Saverio Weather fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jaime Nafarroa quite easily take care of the ball. Timoteo Cresconio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jaime Nafarroa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Rufo in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Rufo came free, but Jaime Nafarroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Nereo Rufo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Nafarroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Nafarroa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Rufo's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Donato Izotz struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Eliseo Ellande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Gallardeta. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
