The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Intxixu got free with Elpidio Vitin in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute Cristian Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Pocock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 minutes of play, Oshyros ll's Isaac Intxixu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elpidio Vitin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Djamel Autret recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Sten Andrejević sped through Vélez Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elpidio Vitin. With a little luck, Oshyros ll's Fumo Pocock got control of the ball when Bernardo Sayvion tried to sneak it across the goal line.
