In the 17th minute Fulgencio Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Filip Josefsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Omar Falleto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filip Josefsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Falleto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Dionisio Raphael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Verner Sundström in the 30th minute of the match. Manuel Galo's late challenge caught a Los Podridos ll's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Galo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to PINGO PINGO getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Manuel Galo hit a great ball. Hugo Iratze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Verner Sundström was the one to do the kick off. Verner Sundström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dionisio Raphael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55thth minute of the game Fulgencio Bilintx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PINGO PINGO's Dionisio Raphael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute of the game Amado Gutierrez made a throw-in which Filiberto Erramu played forward. Dionisio Raphael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Iratze in the 64th minute of play. In the last second Dionisio Raphael throw himself and got hold of the ball when Verner Sundström in the 64thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Omar Falleto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Josefsson in the 66th minute of play. In the 67thth minute of the game Fulgencio Bilintx who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PINGO PINGO's Dionisio Raphael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Los Podridos ll's Leandro Dunixi was substituted for Verner Sundström. Los Podridos ll's Natanael Vives was substituted for Filiberto Erramu. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Leandro Dunixi took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Dionisio Raphael to make any attempt to save it. 82 minutes into the match, Los Podridos ll's Fulgencio Bilintx sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dionisio Raphael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute of the match Los Podridos ll got a corner. PINGO PINGO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Natanael Vives ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Dunixi in the 84th minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Dionisio Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Los Podridos ll's Hugo Iratze in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Dunixi got free with Dionisio Raphael in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amado Gutierrez hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. After 96 played minutes PINGO PINGO got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Micarelli. Los Podridos ll's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
