After the first half PLASNIKE were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when D.J. Gol made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Antonio Gombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Davor Šuker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Olando was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Black Rose 1979's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Black Rose 1979's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Silverio Huly scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Johan Ahlqvist, making the score, 1-3. In the 86th minute of the match PLASNIKE got a corner. Black Rose 1979's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adán Campos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led PLASNIKE's Adán Campos to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl-Johan Ahlqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 89th minute Danilo Jordy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Mutu Surdu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. The goal made the score 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. PLASNIKE had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
