The audience was convinced that Romeo Eleder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Ledesma was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 35th minute of the match Chimborazo A.F.C got a corner. Los Del Kllejon FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ernesto Pacifico ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Chimborazo A.F.C's corner Marcos Bizi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Venancio Geleberto quite easily take care of the ball. Los Del Kllejon FC made a substitution. Axel Kleine replaced Hilario Frasquito. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Bizi to make the kick off. If Abel Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Del Kllejon FC's Venancio Geleberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Pacifico in the 55th minute of play. Venancio Geleberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Cearense in the 56th minute of the match. Chimborazo A.F.C's Jeremias Ledesma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Eleder in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Marcos Bizi notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Los Del Kllejon FC's Venancio Geleberto. Venancio Geleberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute David Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Geleberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chimborazo A.F.C had won after a very even match.
