Šair Lupin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dionisio Raphael firmly grabbed it by the left post. Arnulfo Kinsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Demario in the 16th minute of the match. The referee ignored PINGO PINGO's protests and gave Manuel Galo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Laurita FC booed when PINGO PINGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Galo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Csaba Szénási could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Dionisio Raphael made a huge save. After a rather tough play, PINGO PINGO's Felipe Fernandes got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Šair Lupin got free with Dionisio Raphael in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnulfo Kinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Beso Negro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dionisio Raphael was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Felipe Fernandes might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Kinsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Fernandes ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, PINGO PINGO's Felipe Fernandes got a free kick in the 58th minute. With an all-out effort, PINGO PINGO's Arnulfo Kinsen threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilberto Demario, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 4-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Filip Josefsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Arnulfo Kinsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. When Laurita FC's Šair Lupin in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hélder Fernandez replaced Bernardino Ofelio. 89 minutes into the match, Mario Alberto Kempes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Raphael. PINGO PINGO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mario Alberto Kempes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 6-2 when Mario Alberto Kempes sped through PINGO PINGO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dionisio Raphael. Laurita FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
