Despite this Jeremias Ledesma quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Severiano Bonifaco acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ernesto Pacifico. Simbo FC's Severiano Bonifaco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Simbo FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Pacifico in the 17th minute of play forced Simbo FC's goalkeeper Severiano Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Ernesto Pacifico lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Severiano Bonifaco. Simbo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ernesto Pacifico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rafael Jaunti to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Elpidio Viviano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Chimborazo A.F.C's Marcos Bizi in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chimborazo A.F.C fully deserved thier win.
