Ulises Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Los Podridos ll's zone, Gaufred Betanzos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Falleto came out of the goal and Gaufred Betanzos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by D.J. Gol to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Gombal hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist got control of the ball when Leandro Dunixi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Los Podridos ll could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Black Rose 1979 throughout the match.
