Chimborazo A.F.C's Jeremias Ledesma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Chimborazo A.F.C from getting a goal against them. Filip Josefsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Jeremias Ledesma skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Filip Josefsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Ledesma having to make a save. With a little luck, Chimborazo A.F.C's Jeremias Ledesma got control of the ball when Filip Josefsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 14 minutes, Ernesto Pacifico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chimborazo A.F.C and the PINGO PINGO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Filip Josefsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Ledesma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Josefsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremias Ledesma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Josefsson in the 15th minute. Filip Josefsson in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jeremias Ledesma, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Josefsson got free with Jeremias Ledesma in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes in the game Przemyslaw Solecki did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Aurelio Bernal. Filip Josefsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremias Ledesma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Josefsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 26 minutes into the match, Chimborazo A.F.C's goalkeeper Jeremias Ledesma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filip Josefsson. Jeremias Ledesma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Josefsson's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Chimborazo A.F.C's Jeremias Ledesma got control of the ball when Filip Josefsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 30th minute, Filip Josefsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeremias Ledesma. The goal made the score 2-0. 34 minutes into the game, Felipe Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PINGO PINGO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chimborazo A.F.C the free kick. The supporters of Chimborazo A.F.C booed when PINGO PINGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Fernandes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Przemyslaw Solecki made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by PINGO PINGO's Gregorio Tancoš. Filip Josefsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jeremias Ledesma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Filip Josefsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jeremias Ledesma. Filip Josefsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, PINGO PINGO's Gregorio Tancoš got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Josefsson got free with Jeremias Ledesma in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. PINGO PINGO's attentive Gregorio Tancoš managed to snatch the ball when Przemyslaw Solecki made a throw-in in the 47th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Bizi to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Cearense in the 50th minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Dionisio Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 50 minutes into the match, David Cearense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dionisio Raphael, 3-1. Dionisio Raphael made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when David Cearense sent off a good shot on target. Jeremias Ledesma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Josefsson in the 60th minute of the match. If Baldomiro Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvaro Micarelli took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremias Ledesma. Jeremias Ledesma dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Alvaro Micarelli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregorio Tancoš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Dionisio Raphael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcos Bizi. Dionisio Raphael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto Pacifico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, David Cearense took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Dionisio Raphael to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Chimborazo A.F.C defense, Alvaro Micarelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Ledesma. The Chimborazo A.F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Ledesma should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The PINGO PINGO fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chimborazo A.F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
