An unexpectedly hard shot by Man Tas in the 24th minute of play forced Deportivo Mukenio's goalkeeper Arnoldo Donzel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnoldo Donzel made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Man Tas sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aziz Akarsu in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Elizardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Man Tas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Donzel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Arias Fabelo made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Deportivo Mukenio's Jairo Aurre. In the 47th minute Mario Hever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Man Tas was the one to do the kick off. Alex Herrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Arnoldo Donzel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aziz Akarsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aziz Akarsu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Mukenio's zone, Alex Herrero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Donzel came out of the goal and Alex Herrero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Deportivo Mukenio's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Herrero came free, but Arnoldo Donzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alex Herrero came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Herrero couldn't finish the play.
