Bartolo Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Goito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Avila kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, San Fernando Eagles's Elias Navarro tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With his leg Cirilo Demario managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when San Fernando Eagles's Vlad Enceanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. San Fernando Eagles's Polo Quinteros suffered a sore thigh after 19 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Ferreyra during the 19th minute. Bartolo Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Osoitz in the 32nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the San Fernando Eagles defense, Santos Goito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolo Salvator. The San Fernando Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolo Salvator should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Vicente Sol could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Cirilo Demario however easily saved by the left post. San Fernando Eagles's Vlad Enceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
