Yao Guang Chao had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Celestino Sidro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Celestino Sidro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Yaji FC's Yao Guang Chao. Yao Guang Chao was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the game, C. A. Potrero's Mustafa Barış Yorangil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yao Guang Chao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Mustafa Barış Yorangil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the match, C. A. Potrero's Mustafa Barış Yorangil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yao Guang Chao narrowly saved just below the crossbar. C. A. Potrero made a substitution. Mateusz Marajda replaced Mustafa Barış Yorangil. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Potrero's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Potrero's attentive Jair Busquets managed to snatch the ball when Danilo Christobal made a throw-in in the 88th minute of the game. With his leg Yao Guang Chao managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when C. A. Potrero's Mateusz Marajda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. C. A. Potrero played a much better game than Yaji FC and deserved their victory. The Yaji FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
