Joel Gamus scored 0-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pastor Firman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zoran Simović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Mietus, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Radomil Mietus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sportivo Quilmes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radomil Mietus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute of the match, Radomil Mietus tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zoran Simović saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.

Joel Gamus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Pastor Firman made a huge save. 17 de enero team's Zoran Simović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Chuan in the 70th minute of play. Club Sportivo Quilmes's Emanuel Ladio was substituted for Silverio Chuan. Club Sportivo Quilmes's David Oihan was substituted for Radomil Mietus. 17 de enero team's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
